I really hate surveillance cameras. There was an artist in the UK who designed IR LED clothing that could jam CCTV cameras, which I thought was very cool, but then I realized the problem ought to be simpler to solve, and involve robots.
China sells all sorts of diode lasers that are more than capable of burning out the light-sensitive elements of a camera (and an eye!), and image recognition blogs tell me that it’s pretty simple to recognize camera lenses. So… 2 and 2.
